Is K-Uncle really halal?

Yes. K-Uncle is certified halal by Makan. Every branch uses 100% halal ingredients, separated preparation zones, and Korean-trained chefs who follow halal handling protocols. There is no pork or alcohol on the premises. Certification covers raw ingredients, preparation methods, kitchen workflow, supplier audits, and ongoing staff training.

Who is Makan, the certifier?

Makan is an established halal certification body. They audit our ingredients, kitchen workflow, and staff training — at opening and on an ongoing basis. The certificate isn't a one-time decal; it's a continuous standard we maintain.

Where are the branches?

Five locations across Greater Bangkok: Rama 2, Pracha Uthit 62 (next to a mosque), Phatthanakan 38 (across Kasem Bundit University, with parking), Rat Phatthana 20, and Nonthaburi (near Phra Nang Klao Hospital). All open daily 12:00–21:00.

What does K-Uncle serve?

Korean fried chicken (4 sauces), kimbap (7 varieties), Korean ramen including rabokki and jjajangmyeon, rice bowls (bulgogi, chicken, tuna), kimchi stew, seaweed beef soup, Korean pancakes (kimchi, seafood), and combo sets from ฿540 to ฿1,000. See the full menu →

How much does it cost?

Most main dishes are ฿130–฿290. Korean fried chicken starts at ฿130 (soy) up to ฿150 (sweet & spicy / cheese / honey butter). Kimbap is ฿160–฿230. Ramen is ฿210–฿290. Combo sets: ฿540 (2 people), ฿819 (3–4 people, most popular), ฿1,000 (5–6 people).

Does K-Uncle deliver?

Yes — via LINE MAN and Shopee Food from all five branches. You can also message LINE @822woafj or call +66 62 869 5605 to order directly.

Can I make a group reservation?

Yes. For groups of 10 or more, please reserve at least one day in advance. Call your nearest branch or message LINE @822woafj.

Is there pork or alcohol anywhere?

No. No pork or alcohol is used in any K-Uncle dish, sauce, or marinade — and none is stored on the premises. This is a hard requirement of our Makan halal certification.

Are the chefs Korean?

Our chefs are Korean-trained. They follow Korean technique for gochujang, kimchi fermentation, rice cake preparation, and Korean-style frying — not Thai approximations. All chefs train at our flagship before being assigned to a branch.

When are you open?

All five branches: daily 12:00–21:00. Last kitchen order ~20:30.

Is there parking?

Yes at Phatthanakan 38 (on-site, across from Kasem Bundit University). Other branches have street parking or nearby paid lots. Most customers arrive by car, Grab, or order delivery.

Can I open a K-Uncle franchise?

Yes — we're actively expanding. See our franchise page or message LINE @822woafj.
